Terms of Service

Effective 6 October 2026 · Sofra by TablixAI

These terms govern your use of Sofra, the restaurant management platform provided by TablixAI (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Sofra you agree to them. If you use Sofra for a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these terms.

1.Your account

  • You sign up for a Sofra account at the Sofra portal. The account owner can create and manage one or more restaurants.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Staff members are invited by a restaurant and sign in on that restaurant's own web address. The restaurant owner is responsible for who they invite and what access they give.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.

2.Restaurants, domains and publishing

  • Each restaurant gets a free subdomain on Sofra. We may refuse or remove names that are misleading, infringe someone's rights or are reserved.
  • Custom domains are available on the Pro Plus plan. You must own or control any domain you connect and verify it through DNS. If you downgrade or the subscription ends, custom domain access may be withdrawn.
  • A restaurant stays private to its owner until you publish it. You are responsible for the content you publish.

3.Plans, billing and refunds

  • Sofra has a Free plan and paid plans (Basic, Pro, Pro Plus), billed monthly or yearly. Current prices and limits are shown in the portal. Prices are in USD and exclude tax.
  • Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, which also collects any applicable tax and issues invoices. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then.
  • We do not refund unused time. Your first payment on a paid plan is refundable if you ask within 14 days of purchase. Refunds required by law, and charges made in error, are always honoured.
  • If a payment cannot be collected after Paddle's retries, the restaurant moves to the Free plan.
  • Plan limits (staff, menu items, tables, storage) apply. When you reach a limit you can't add more, but existing data is never deleted because of a downgrade. Pro Plus "unlimited" allowances are subject to fair use.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before changing prices or the Free plan's limits. Changes apply from your next renewal.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use Sofra to sell or promote illegal goods or services;
  • upload malware, or try to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to Sofra or other customers' data;
  • resell or white-label Sofra except where your plan allows it;
  • use automated means to overload the service, or work around plan limits or security controls.

We may suspend or restrict an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why where we can.

5.Your data

  • You own the data you put into Sofra: menus, orders, customers, staff records and so on. You give us permission to host, process and back it up only to provide and improve the service.
  • For personal data about your guests, customers and staff, you are the controller and we act as your processor. See our Privacy Policy.
  • When an account is closed we keep its data for 90 days, then delete it on request or automatically.

6.Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Sofra available and secure, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may update, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you in advance.

7.Third-party services

Sofra relies on third parties, including Paddle for payments and cloud hosting providers. Their terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for outages or acts of providers outside our control.

8.Intellectual property

Sofra, its software, design and branding belong to TablixAI and its licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Sofra while your account is active. Your own content and branding remain yours.

9.Disclaimers and liability

  • Sofra is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.
  • You are responsible for checking that tax, pricing, food-safety and other settings you configure are correct for your business.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10.Ending your account

You can cancel your subscription at any time and stop using Sofra. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if required by law. On ending, sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability and intellectual property) continue to apply.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before they apply to existing customers. Continuing to use Sofra after that means you accept the updated terms.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TablixAI is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.

13.Contact

Questions about these terms, billing or refunds: the support contact shown in the Sofra app.
